Another famous trick, that is used by what we in the industry call "deceptive order gatherers" is that you see a picture on their website that is a stock photo. Typically, those arrangements are sold by the original company who generated the photograph in multiple sizes of small, medium large or as standard, deluxe, and premium sizes. What you see in the photo, may very well be the "large" or "premium" version, but when selecting your arrangement, you will notice the photo does not change. Therefore, sometimes it is quite possible that you choose "premium", yet the order sent to the florist may very well be valued at standard pricing. Therefore, your recipient gets the least valued arrangement.

Something else to consider, if indeed you do see a specific list of types and quantities of lowers or can count them in a photograph. Please be aware, that photos are only 2-dimensional. What's on the back side of the arrangement in the picture? Be aware, that the flowers you see will be spread around and the arrangement will be more open than perhaps you thought it might be.

In the end, nearly 50% of your $ leaves the local community.
