"Flowers speak when words fail."
We know this and we design with that thought in mind. Let us design something special for your or your loved one. With us, you get more for your money. Do not be misled by all the floral order takers on the internet. They sit in an office, take your money for the flowers, charge you extra fees and then send the order to us. We do all the work creating your floral bouquets and we receive only a small portion of your hard earned money. When possible, always try to buy from a local flower shop, you will definitely get a more beautiful arrangement for your money and it will cost you less! We are a mother/daughter owned store and we take pride in our arrangements. We do create everything from the ordinary to the unique to the extraordinary. We specialize in doing large arrangements but all small arrangements are welcome as well. :)

When ordering through FTD, Teleflora, 1800Flowers, From You Flowers, Just Flowers, just to name a few. You will inevitably be charged a processing fee of anywhere from $11 to $20 just to run your order through their company.
This fee, and a host of other fees, are often charged to you, the customer over and above the cost of the arrangement that you see pictured.
In addition to those add-on fees, that company that you place your order with takes a 20% commission as the selling agent.
In addition to those fees and the commission percentage, the wire-service that transmits the order takes another 7 to 9% of the order.
Another famous trick, that is used by what we in the industry call "deceptive order gatherers" is that you see a picture on their website that is a stock photo. Typically, those arrangements are sold by the original company who generated the photograph in multiple sizes of small, medium large or as standard, deluxe, and premium sizes. What you see in the photo, may very well be the "large" or "premium" version, but when selecting your arrangement, you will notice the photo does not change. Therefore, sometimes it is quite possible that you choose "premium", yet the order sent to the florist may very well be valued at standard pricing. Therefore, your recipient gets the least valued arrangement.
Something else to consider, if indeed you do see a specific list of types and quantities of lowers or can count them in a photograph. Please be aware, that photos are only 2-dimensional. What's on the back side of the arrangement in the picture? Be aware, that the flowers you see will be spread around and the arrangement will be more open than perhaps you thought it might be.
In the end, nearly 50% of your $ leaves the local community.
Lastly, the local economy suffers additionally due to the loss of sales tax dollars as the websites often do not collect any tax.
Now, on to the product and the service.
When ordering flowers from a local florist:
Flowers are always delivered nicely arranged by a fellow member of your community, never in a box by courier.
The person receiving your gift will be able to contact the florist to ask any questions about care and handling instructions.
As a sender, you have the opportunity to ask questions about your gift, have input on the design, and request a special delivery rather than ordering from a stock photo where some of the product may be substituted without your knowledge.
As a valued customer, you will be able to ask the florist what flowers are freshest and in-stock that day.
Both the sender and the recipient will be able to streamline communication with the florist making the delivery goes smoothly and as planned. Rather than going through multiple phone calls and relaying of messages. In the event of a question or issue with the order, the florist may be able to contact you to resolve any type of issue that may arise.
Particularly at busy holiday times, website/order gatherers continue to sell orders in areas where the local flower shops have become overloaded by heavy order volumes, thereby not knowing for certain that those orders can be delivered in a timely manner. Only the local florist knows what they can handle and what they will have to turn away.
Almost every possible pitfall that you might experience when ordering flowers online can be prevented by simply ordering at the florist's own website, in person, or over the phone.
When it comes to sharing your thoughts, hopes, inspirations, gratitude, tributes or any other message, think about sending flowers.... They last longer than a single dinner out, your message will resonate for a week, and they will bring smiles and joy at times of happiness and times of sorrow (and everywhere in between).
